On October 7,8,9,2016 I will be leading a photography workshop in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is well known for its spectacular beaches, historic plantations, beautiful antebellum architecture, interesting local residents and incredible food. October is traditionally a great month of weather in the low country. I have called Charleston my home for 12 years now and have photographed the area extensively. My art studio is located in North Charleston. This photographic experience is geared toward all levels of photographer. It is not restricted to one style, but will explore different subject matter. We will shoot the beaches, plantation gardens and buildings, people in the markets and historic architecture.

All photographers are welcome. It does not matter if you shoot film or digital, large format or small, color or black & white. I will help you make more interesting and artistic compositions. I assume you have an understanding of the workings of your equipment, but I can aid you in simplifying your approach to photographing. The attendance fee for the workshop is $395. It is your responsibility for transportation, lodging and food. Upon registering, I will send you recommendations and links to book lodging. The workshop will be limited to the first 10 people that register. A special rate of $645 is available to couples who would like to attend.

Charleston and the Carolina Lowcountry are among America's most photogenic places. There are remarkably beautiful natural landscapes along with great history. Subject matter here is endless and readily available. It is an ideal location to have a photographic adventure! Come join us. To register, contact me at or call 843-290-4925. See you in Charleston!
